On behalf of the dedicated men and women who are the Central Point Police Department, welcome to our website.

The Central Point Police Department is honored to offer all of our citizens, and visitors to this City, expert Police services twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week, three hundred and sixty-five days a year.

It is an uncompromising mandate of the Central Point Police Department to at all times support, strengthen and sustain an ethical culture throughout our organization; giving surety that all of our actions engender public trust and confidence in an ongoing pledge to carry out our mission and perform our duty with the highest levels of competence, character and integrity.

To fully uphold these guiding principles, all members of the Central Point Police Department are committed to embedding core-ethical values into every aspect of employment, retention and promotion processes; basic and in-service training, and too regularly support and practice these values in all of our actions; above all in our provision of police services to the public.

Although the leadership of the Central Point Police Department has special responsibilities and must live up to the highest standards of ethical behavior, personnel at all levels of our organization are expected to consistently teach, enforce, advocate and model trustworthiness, respect, responsibility, fairness, caring, and good citizenship in all of their actions and decisions.

As we look to our future, the Central Point Police Department has undertaken a number of ambitious steps to assure that we will stand ready to meet the scores of complex challenges which are likely to occur in a rapidly growing community.

Along the way, every member of the Central Point Police Department is entrusted to follow these essential mandates:
  • Live up to our open declaration that we are "Dedicated to Service, Committed to Excellence."
  • Vigorously defend the TRUST those whom we have sworn to “Protect and Serve,” have correctly placed in each of us.
  • Embrace, and remain faithful to our essential core-values of Honor, Integrity, Character, Trust, Courage, and Accountability.
I am excited about our future and share in the tremendous pride we all feel of being afforded the exceptional privilege to serve this community, and our venerated profession.  Enjoy our website, and if you have need of our services or simply want to drop by for a visit, please feel free to call on us.
